Tätigkeitsbeschreibung:
Dein Aufgabengebiet
- Primary point of contact for all IFRS-related accounting matters within the 20-FTE-accounting-team, including supporting management and the Executive Board (Audit Committee included).
- Prepare technical position papers related to IFRS (accounting memos) to address complex accounting issues.
- Responsible for implementing new or amended accounting standards and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and processes to align with IFRS requirements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards across all accounting activities.
- Support preparing and auditing IFRS consolidated financial statements and other financial reports.
- Coordinate the preparation of IFRS-related SOX controls to meet internal and external audit requirements.
- Act as a liaison with auditors and other external stakeholders, efficiently facilitating the resolution of accounting matters.
- Plan and conduct in-house IFRS training sessions to enhance the knowledge base of the accounting team.
Dein Hintergrund
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field
- Extensive experience in IFRS (both accounting and financial reporting), especially for IFRS 2, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, and IAS 38
- Background in financial auditing is an asset
- Exceptional analytical abilities and communication skills, especially the ability to communicate complex accounting issues in an effortless manner
- Fluency in both German and English
